International Relations

The Gorton Leaders Program offers six-month fellowships to current undergraduate and graduate students whose degrees focus on international relations and U.S. policy. Fellows participate in a series of roundtables with foreign policy experts and other GLP alumni. The Gorton Center at NBR awards fellowships each year to a small class of fellows from community colleges and universities in the Pacific Northwest.

The GLP aims to cultivate and mentor the next generation of policy leaders who are deeply invested in their communities by providing networking opportunities and policy-focused classes and discussions. The GLP curriculum focuses on three policy areas: democracy and China; national security; and innovation, technology, and intellectual property.
