The American Enterprise Institute’s internships give students an opportunity to learn directly from some of America’s most renowned scholars and nonprofit leaders who are advancing the conversation on today’s prominent public policy issues. AEI provides an intellectually stimulating environment, rich with critical thinking, scholarship, and lively debate. AEI offers more than 60 internship opportunities in its research and business groups, including: Economic and healthcare policy, Foreign and defense policy,Social, Cultural and Constitutional studies, Domestic policy, Media and Communications, Government Relations, External Relations, Development & Fundraising.

AEI internships are available in the fall, spring, and summer to experienced undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required; however, most successful candidates have at least a 3.5 GPA.
