The Sakura Scholars Program Joint Degree Program is one of a kind. American students will spend their first and fourth year of college in Washington D.C. at American University and their second and third year at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. Students major in Global Relations and have a schedule planned out for them. Only 25 students are admitted into the program and you must apply as an incoming first-year college student. Upon completion you'd recieve a degree from both institutions.
